2021 Nissan Frontier - here we go again...
From Car and Driver: "Before Nissan unveils the next-generation Frontier, it previews the future truck's powertrain on the 2020 model. The new 310-hp 3.8-liter V-6 replaces the old four-cylinder and 4.0-liter V-6 options. A new nine-speed automatic is now the sole transmission, which means a manual is no longer offered."

Yeah, it's to the point of not really even being newsworthy. Re: the Tacoma, Toyota's site for the 2020 only shows automatics, but the EPA MPG ratings show a V6 with a 6 speed manual. So eye don't no.

Tacoma has always been a whack-a-mole with the availability of the manual, as far as what packages and options you can get. It's apparently now down to the three TRD trims and not available in the Double Cab long bed.

I know you're not supposed to drive it like a sports car but I saw a test drive on a Tacoma with a manuel and the rev hang was pretty atrocious. I don't mind a bit of rev hang, but it looks like it'd be undriveable in day to day traffic.
