I agree. It was cold and wet when I drove the Miata. I really wanted to throw it into a corner to see what it could do.

They would not even consider 6,500. To pay anything above that is insanity.

Stealerships will come down. You just have to wait for it. This E36 M3 was overpriced at $17500 a few months ago. No I can get it for a drive out of $12,500.

Haha, dude was already shitting bricks from letting me drive it. Plus it was a really urban setting, couldnt go much faster than 35, or take any good turns.

Fark, I'm tired. Was supposed to do a local meet with some people from FMV (Ford Fusion Club/Mazda3 Forums), but... been a long day. Just need to suffer through an 8-hour day tomorrow.

Luckily Im OCD with tracking packages and noticed that so I called them and now its going to sit at the depot for me to pick up in the morning. I dont want to wait another day for it!
Actually I just checked for you again and they messed up the address big time, again. I'll call them and correct the address, but you'll have to keep waiting... uhh, I'm sure it'll come eventually. I'll call for you though, buddy and let them know my, I mean, the real address! I know, I'm a great friend.
Thanks, pal!

Take a book with car values. Show them how much lower the price is (if it is indeed lower) Tell them "Well, if you want to rob me that much, I'll just take my business elsewhere!" That line is always a gamble, but if a salesman is desperate for some cash, he might bend. Or break.

Even better, find a lower priced similar model from a competitor, or a lower priced car from another dealership in some random place. Show 'em the price. If you can find one even a few bucks cheaper being sold by a competitor, here's what they might be thinking... "If this guy buys from a competitor because I wouldn't drop the price, and they're only paying that much less, my ass will be grass."

I drove Tony's Rabbit. I bucked and stalled multiple times, until he said something along the lines of "Let it sit for just a second when the clutch bites, then release it". I eased up on the release speed at the point when it started to bite, then released at normal speed, and off I went. I'm not a big fan of the DBW, but I looooooooooooooooooooved the shifter. It was 100% win.

I'm a DBW hater, but... If I had another car to drive besides a Rabbit, I'd be rockin' a Rabbit... (If I had any money, that is...)

Oh, and the stereo in that car makes all the cars I've been in sound like headphones.
Listening to Dimmu pounding out of those speakers... It was like... an aural orgasm...

For some further postwhoring, I am writing this from my own computer. Just installed PC Wizard 2008. Not sure entirely how accurate it is, but... CPU Temp is reading at 80.6 Degrees Fahrenheit. That's about the same reading John was getting with his, Dual Core and all... Then again, almost one whole side of his case is a fan, so...

Did some wire splicing so I could have my front LED and my second hard disk at the same time. Took out a fan, spliced two more molex connectors onto it. Works just fine. I figured I'd do the fan instead of a power supply lead, since the fan would've been waaaaaaaaaaaaay easier to put a new connector on, since it's easy to remove. I just realized one of the LEDs on my case fan seems to be non-functional. Oh well.
