Or perhaps a Challenger from like late 2000s. I'd be curious how they were. I'm glad this VW was cheap enough. I'm sure I'll take a bath on it but it's just unbearable. The rev hang makes it pretty much unbearable to drive.
You could probably get a deal on a Focus ST.

They're still pushing mid 15s! That's for high mileage as well!

Did a test dive of a few cars this week. I was blown away with one of them. Probably the best manual I've ever driven since my old Civics. Absolutely no rev hang and its a 2019. A bit small in footprint though.

I'm vaguely lusty for one, then again I'm also lusty for a manual Challenger. My heart is aflutter for all sorts of the things.

The clutch is insanely heavy in those though. I don't think dailying it would be fun.

Driven one, well an FR-S, did like, but not for what they're asking for it. I'd rather just have a 2 seater at that point rather than a pointless backseat which people having legs couldn't use.

What, like we all don't give rides to legless friends?

That is by no means a heavy clutch. If anything its a bit too light. It is responsive at least.

What exactly makes a clutch heavy vs. light? Is it as simple as the weight of the clutch disc? Or is it how hard the pedal is to push to the floor and keep there?

The clutch is my Mazda 3 seems very light to me, because it takes very little effort to push to the floor. I've never experienced a different clutch though, except my dad's Dodge Dakota about 15 years ago and I have no memory of what that felt like.
