Cool pix from shop in Spokane

Post by OzZyMaN2438 »

Hey guys I have some cool pics that I wanted to share with you guys. I used to hang out at this auto shop in Spokane, WA called Tranceworx. The owner is a dude who's dad figured out how to molecularly bond some sort of metal with any other metal or something...and all this dude does is buy cars or build cars...actually he just owns the shop and pays a bunch of people to do all the work. I thought you guys would like some of these.

This is his 1996 Viper GTS. I know that the motor has been built up tremendously- the motor has been bored/stroked up to 9 liters and has a 150 shot of nitrous. He said that the car was dynoed at around 820hp at the wheels but I dont know if that is with nitrous or not. I got to ride in it since I spent a bunch of money at the shop and I'll never forget the experience. It was like the pinnacle of automotive nirvana. The dude punced the gas and the friggin glovebox flew open. lol.

Now here's one for the import guys. If this Skyline R34 GTR looks familiar its because it should. This is one of the stunt cars used in 2 Fast 2 Furious. This particular car is the one that was used for the bridge jump scene. There is even a big hole in the intercooler from sustained damage. The interior is gutted but the car is in the process of being rebuilt and put back together.

Oh and this is probably his craziest car out in the showroom. This is a Chevy Suburban that he takes to booths at conventions. This thing has enough audio equipment to blow your head off- a sweet couch inside and about 8 TV's and god knows how many speakers. There is dynamat filling EVERY conceivable place and to top it off.......check out what they crammed under the hood...

wait for it............

What a shame...~1000 hp and still only does 16 seconds in the 1/4 mile. J/K

Wouldn't mind having that bridge-jumped skyline though. :D

FWIW, that Viper is not a GTS. The GTS was the coupe version. The roadster went by the R/T-10 designation.

IMBoring25 is correct and I agree to what he said that Viper is not a GTS. The GTS was the coupe version.

My old impala justs stands there in the yard, looking like some high-performance antelope. I hired it to keep track of my appointments, but it never reminds me of anything.
