Re: Drove a 911 Turbo today

Yeah I'm only 19 :(

If my Z was in super presentable shape (meaning new paint) then I'd try it, but mine is a bit raggedy and would give me away lol.

Re: Drove a 911 Turbo today

You also have to be careful... It's easy on high horsepower cars to destroy the clutch because of the power. 300hp behind a slipping clutch will kill it much faster than 150hp, and it's easy to not notice it since it's much harder to bog down such a powerful engine. But it does not surprise me at al...

Re: 5-speed vs. 6-speed

I took off in 5th one time in the Rustang... Basically got it rolling and then was tired of waiting on it to accelerate. 5-1 dc downshift FTW!

I'm gonna have to try it in the Z...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

Woot! Roadtrip next week! Stopping in Nashville and Columbus on my way up to NY. On another positive note, I got new rear tires today. Michelin PIlot Sport A/S Plus tires. Sidewalls are a bit soft, but grip is retardedly good for an A/S tire with such high rated winter capabilities (not great, but a...

Re: Tranny surprise

Oi I'm terrified of what all the salt is gonna do to my Z even though it'll rarely get driven in snow.

I'm gonna be best friends with the carwash manager. Maybe he'll give me a frequent undercarriage washer card...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

So the other day the Z just magically dropped 2 cylinders. Took two days of trouble shooting but I found out that the spot where the PO had soldered on new injector connectors had melted through and shorted so that the injector was no longer getting power. How I found this? Trying to apply 12V to th...

Texaco Fail

Anyone seen that Texaco commercial about the guy with the FD RX-7 who's like "I've spent more on mods than I have on the car" and stuff and how he uses Texaco gas? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9RsgMjAtuw Well I just thought it's funny how he's got A-pillar gauges that are on the wrong w...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

I thought it took platinum or iridium to last 100,000 miles. These look like I don't even need to change them. copper plugs can last 100000 miles but they'll be pretty worn down by then. i've read that copper plugs have better conductivity than iridium and platinum plugs while they are in good shap...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

At the moment with as much attention as my car requires, I spend ALL of my internet time on the two Z fo...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

Good god I've spent way too much time working on the Z lol. First my radiator blew up. Hit by a rock or something and took a shit. So I replaced it with an aluminum Mishimoto radiator. It comes with a higher pressure cap (1.3bar instead of 1.2) so I figure why not, higher pressure for little better ...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

What all have I done to my wonderful car this week... So early last week, my radiator blows. Luckily I had only driven a mile or two. Pulled it out to find that a rock or something appeared to have hit it and it just had a nice little hole in it. Nice new aluminum Mishimoto radiator shows up on Frid...

Re: 1998 Ford Mustang v6

Car is very bad for sexual adventures. It's just too small.

I used the hood of it, works much better ;)

Just don't dent the fender like we did haha.
