Re: 2001 S10 2.2L engine cuts out on freeway

I wunce had an issue with throttle position sensor that gave me goofyness when the engine was warm. It's like the fool infection didn't have enough info to squirt in the appropriate amount of fuel. If I tipped in it would cut out, but then catch again if I backed out of the throttle. I don't know if...

What do you think of this conversation I found on another site?'' Autonomous vehicle proponents have realized that pedestrians will probably game the system! Since cars will no longer be a danger to them - pedestrians will walk onto the streets of cities, walking right into the street, any place, a...

A high stall torque converter would also get rid of stoplight creep, no? It also helps you to peel out when the light turns green. https://i.makeagif.com/media/10-05-2015/lWzJ_0.gif No, that creep will still be in the lane next to you at the stoplight, trying to get ahead of you before his lane end...

Saw this discussion of the 2nd gen 8-speed slush-box on Allpar:

"Creep torque has been cut by fully opening a clutch during deceleration and when the vehicle is stopped, so that drivers don’t have to brake to keep the car from moving. The oil pump pressure has been cut in pressure by around 30%."

The filet mignon's long, harrowing demise continued in 2019. For the first time, the number of Whitecastles sold in America was higher than the number of filet's delivered with bacon wrapping and zip sauce.

SAE Standard threads are typically expressed as Threads-per-Inch. Metric threads are typically expressed by the length along the axis of the fastener for one revolution of the thread, known as the pitch. Falcons built in the USA had SAE fasteners in their original equipment. Most aftermarket equipme...

Thanks for responding. I don't live anywhere near bumper to bumper traffic so I'd have very few reasons to give up a daily manual any time soon (knock on wood). I find driving overall pretty boring with most cars, and being forced to shift makes it much less so. I'll be mellow when I'm dead. My ide...

In days of yore, when carburetors utilized an idle-stop solenoid, I rigged a switch to disrupt power to said solenoid ("Solenoid" - there, I said it.
