This was a sporadic problem, but it never really bothered me. Now, it happens all the time. I have the "keep me logged in" box checked, and every time I close the browser and open a new one and log on to SS, I'm not logged in. Why is it doing this?

Unless there's something messed with your browser's settings, I have no idea why it's doing that, sorry.

use mozilla firefox as your browser, b/c it remembers your passwords, so all you have to do is press enter when you have to log in. i have the same problem as you

you may have your computer set to delete cookies, or not allow them at all. Go to the internet options, and set your settings to allow cookies. Or, if you clear your cookies to get rid of popups, and to help your browser run faster, your gonna have to redo it everytime after you clear the cookies

I too have the same problem, and it appeared about 2-3 weeks ago. Very weird.
Firefox is cool, but I use Opera. Comparing base installations (Firefox without extensions) it wins the battle hands down. If you have some spare minutes, you should definetly try it out.

I already use Firefox. I'll give Opera a shot. Thanks, chrono.
No, I haven't screwed around with my browser settings. My computer is just... weird.

check and see how often your browser clears your cookies and temp files... if windows is using the auto cleanup wizard, that could be a problem too...
