Subaru celebrates 50 years in America with these special editions

The first I heard of Subaru was when a 10th Grade biology classmate told us his dad worked at a Subaru dealership. Being FWD, he said they drove really well on snowy roads, and could climb up any hill he had come across on a winter weekend, but the steepest/slipperiest had to be driven up in Reverse.

what happened to mid trim level models getting the badge? what a cash grab! :? :mrgreen:

edit: i think they could've picked a more conservative color for this special edition :|

You don't make anything but the best in anniversary trim. That's how this works.

The only color more conservative is grey. That's barely blue at all.

Detroit Subaru store stuck it out, and won

This mustard bean the stealership where my classmate's dad worked at. It's not far from the city we lived in. Good ol' Whatshisface...I wonder what he's driving now.
