It's hard to say without knowing the offset needed for your car. Check on tirerack.com, that will provide you some options and let you see what offsets they recommend.

Anywhere from a 35 to a 42mm offset is good and my rims are stock they are just ok.

These are my faves, though honestly they aren't much different than your current wheels. I like the black but they have silver, too. 16.7 lbs per wheel FTW. If the link doesn't work, they are Enkei RPF01s, 18x7.5. They have 17s too that are more affordable. Popular rim with teh autocrossers.

its FWD anyway. you could save weight by taking off your rear tires! its not like they do anything

Good idea. It'll save you a lot of money and unless you're that worried about cutting weight on your car then there's no point of getting new rims since your old ones look fine. Plus there's plenty of other ways to cut weight on the car.

Less unsprung weight makes for better acceleration and a better ride, however

Gotcha. Would it make a huge difference between how lighter rims affect your ride or if you took out the back seats in your car?

Re: Looking for 17 or 18 inch rims. Bolt Pattern 5x114.3
Lighter rims = better ride, faster acceleration, better fuel economy. No back seats = next to nothing. To equal the benefits of lighter rims, a car needs to be completely gutted.
I can attest to this. My car has more pep, rides much nicer, and gets a bit better mileage with my summer rims at 21.6 pounds each than in the winter with my 29ish pound winter rims. Even without taking tire weight into account, thats a big difference.

Those above reasons are precisely the reason why i want lighter rims.
