Re: FS: 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT [SOLD]
^ Thanks. It's kind of bittersweet, but I'm glad it's sold because now I have $10,000+ I can give to my parents because they've been out of work for a while. It'll be enough for them to keep the house for another few months. And I get something new to play with, something I've wanted for quite a while.

Re: FS: 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT [SOLD]
did you already find the crown vic you want? There is an 04 Crown Vic down here in Anaheim, doubt it has the engine you want though. I have no idea what the end part of "04-05 Ford CVPI P71" means. Me know nufin about cars heh.
Anyways, here's a link to it.

Wow, six. First of congrats on a successful sale; that's really honorable of you to take care of your parents in this economic climate...
Best of luck searching for the Vic!

CVPI = Crown Vic Police InterceptorDraklen wrote:"04-05 Ford CVPI P71" means
Google tells me that all Police Interceptors have 'P71' in their VIN; as such it also became a nickname for that model.

That one's a P74 (LX). Nice unit, and the engine is actually pretty close, but that one doesn't appear to have the Handling and Performance Package, so it would have the wallow-y suspension and a 2.73 rear axle. Nicer pick than a P71 if the P71 is going to run the same money, though.

Re: FS: 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT [SOLD]
Congrats on the sale! Great car at a great price, I would've been surprised if you couldn't offload it. Hopefully the Craigslist folks didn't flake on you too many times...
There's a P71 for sale this Wednesday at the Auto Return auction! If you can swing it you should definitely go; cars go for cheap cheap cheap out of those auctions. There's no pic of it, but it's categorized as an S3, meaning it is valued over $3,000 (though chances are it won't sell for anywhere near that.) It's a blue 2002, VIN# 2FAFP71W02X159208.
You can see it on the vehicle spreadsheet here: http://www.autoreturn.com/files/auction ... -10-21.pdf
For more details on the auction itself just go to autoreturn.com. Good luck on the car hunt, and I applaud you for freeing up cash to help out your parents, you are a good man.

Re: FS: 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT [SOLD]
Thanks, everyone, for the congrats. Actually, the sale went to the first (actually second, if you count Leedeth) offer. There was only one response from the locals, and he bought it.
Also, thanks for the links to the Crown Vics. I'll definitely take those into consideration (not the P74 though).
As of this afternoon, I would be MS6-less. I should change my username to sixless hahahhaah
