I'm guessing longer, lower, without a truncated wheelbase. If it were a girl it would be flat, whereas CUVs are top heavy.theholycow wrote:What is the difference?potownrob wrote:Thats a wagon not a cuv
Not in theory, but in practice...

The Regal is actually more German than most of VWs lineup.tankinbeans wrote:Is that one of those that come out of China or Poland?
I do like the Regal and was looking into one. Just a bit too pricey for what is in my budget

Was it only the Cascada that was Polish and the Envision Chinese? I know Buick is a bit more euro/east Asian than most of the other GM brands.

looks to be the last opel-based gm product...too bad we probably won't get the manual here...
Regal TourX
The station wagon variant, named Regal TourX, was also introduced and will go on sale at the same time as the hatchback, marking the first time since the demise of the Roadmaster in 1996 that Buick had a station wagon in its lineup. The TourX will compete against the Volvo V60 Cross Country, Audi A4 Allroad, Subaru Outback, and BMW 3 Series wagon, and will offer up to 73.5 cubic feet of storage space behind the front seats, but will only come in all-wheel drive, along with a LTG turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder cranking out an estimated 250 hp (186 kW) and 295 lb⋅ft (400 N⋅m) mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.[35] The TourX is not available in Canada.

Re: I hate this car
IIRC the previous gen Regal was made in Germany till 2011. 2012-2017 they were made in Canadia. 2018 they were made in Germany with the new generation.
I'm heavily contemplating a previous gen German one. Might be a bit more simpler than the current gen with no Turbo etc. I wonder how they hold up.
Also the previous gen you /could/ get in a manual format. Brembo brakes etc.

id aim for one of the newer ones despite being made in canuckstan. Better looking and less liable to break down.bk7794 wrote:IIRC the previous gen Regal was made in Germany till 2011. 2012-2017 they were made in Canadia. 2018 they were made in Germany with the new generation.
