Atlanta Standard Shifter
Hi all, I've been lurking ever since I purchased my 2013 GTI a couple of weeks ago, but I thought it was about time to start posting. I'm new to driving manual and having a great time! (The steep grade in stop-and-go morning traffic not included)
Specs on the GTI:
Candy White, 4 door, 6MT, Wolfsburg edition (Laguna wheels, golf ball shift knob)
Attempting to post pics in line but having a hard time with it... Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Atlanta Standard Shifter
Welcome to the site! Sounds like a really nice car.
The easiest way to post pictures is to have another website host the images (I use photobucket) and then use the image tag at the top
(like this [im g]http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/b58 ... 1534e9.jpg[/img] without the space between the m and g in img) when creating the post. Hope that helps. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the car!

Wish I knew a numeric value, but it's pretty hefty. Was definitely thankful for the VW hill assist in the beginning.

Welcome fellow ATLien and GTI driver!
You've picked a good car to start with, it's the easiest manual I've ever driven.

Thanks! I ripped it off the Panda Marine icon from Starcraft 2 haha.InlinePaul wrote:Nice avitar too, Soundbear!
Also, agreed that the GTI is a super easy drive; very forgiving. Not including the 2 stalls in a row this morning up that massive hill I mentioned.vedran wrote:You've picked a good car to start with, it's the easiest manual I've ever driven.
