Finally Got My First Stick After 7 Years

Yes, you read correctly. After being a member here for 7 years, I have finally got my first car that is a stick. Its a 97 Firebird TransAm. I joined this forum when I was 13 years old. What made me join was I was on vacation in Florida and I was at a Ford dealership. I was checking out all of the new Cobra mustangs and I would go in and play with the stick shift and wonder what it was like to drive a stick. So I got on here and researched and read what people had to say to imagine what it was like. Well, I finally own a stick shift car now at age 20 after having 2 previous automatics and I love it. 350 LT1 pure American Muscle.

Okay....gotta ask-- I see a Mustang avatar and a Mustang username, but you ended up with a Firebird? It just seems like the story should have ended with you buying some kind of Mustang, especially since you had that experience as a kid at the Ford dealership

Just for the record I got this car because it was a good opportunity. I love mustangs camaros chargers all muscle cars. Hopefully someday I can own them all
