Winter ran away this year... Came back home from Boston (where I'm going to school) for winter - only snowed once fall semester, in October. In the 3 weeks I've in been in California, I haven't seen rain at all... and there's no snow in Lake Tahoe, people are going crazy cause they can't ski :O

Don't really want it on the roads....but I do want it on the mountains. I wonder if this entire winter is going to be a bust in the northeast. :(

In Minnesota, we're getting a bit of snow. Nothing horrible, but I noticed something I didn't realize before. With the slush it's real easy to turn the clutch pedal slippery and make it difficult to use. Right now I'm wearing skater shoes with a slick sole and kept having to fight with the bit of ice/slush on my clutch to prevent popping it. Not fun.

Getting some more snow here now. We got about a foot or more last week, then it melted.

Went out for some AWD fun.

It is snowing more than it appears in the photos. It was just windy and blowing sideways/swirling.

This time last year we were buried in, but this year has been weird. It was 8 degrees earlier this week.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.

Yeah, by this time last year, we already had at least 4 or 5 good snow storms in my part of NY. This year, just one tiny storm in late October and nothing but flurries since then. That's very disappointing, but we still have quite a bit of winter remaining, so I'm not giving up hope.

My relatives in Syracuse NY are all shocked at the lack of snow. They live in snowmobile country and there has been very little snowmobile action at all so far this winter. Up there, people use snowmobiles almost like they use cars---they go to restaurants, bars, even shopping on their sleds.

Can't say how I feel honestly. I have my snow tires on and haven't had a chance to have some fun :( . It's cool that the weather is nice, but it's about the only thing that makes me actually enjoy living here. Then there's the road salt.....

I shouldn't have said anything on this thread.
Last weekend we got at least 4 inches of snow in my area (a lot more up on the mountains) and about a 2cm this morning.

Very mild weather here. 70* for a high today. Went out for a nice bike ride today after yesterday's monumental partying.

Making dinner and getting ready to eat on the balcony, enjoying the weather and a quiet day.
