I looked at it a long time ago, but I couldn't find if it was in fact supercharged or not. If it wasn't, then it's only about 200 hp, easily thrashable.hockeystyx16 wrote:i wikid it real quick and dale earnhard monte was an 04-05, with a blown 3800 making 240hp and 280ftlb torque
i cant be hassled to look up the weight, but im sure its way overweight like every other american car

i like the new montes, i think they look great, but they are screaming for a LS1 tho. that front wheel drive V8 is a joke, what is the point of it? a burnout only car? sure the grandpas afternoon drive around the neighborhood doesnt need it

I'm betting it was either not an '06-08 or he wasn't trying. I'm sure your truck is pretty quick but stock for stock, it shouldn't be keeping up with an LS4, especially with weight and aero considered.
and btw Chevy stopped the Intimadator version in '05, so any Intimadator one would be a 3800 S/C.

I disagree. The ones from the 1970s look awesome.watkins wrote:Monte Carlo may be one of the ugliest cars in existance.

Yuck. That's an Ugly Carlo. The 1980s ones are best...

My parents used to have one like that. I think it was an '82 or around that year. It was a tan colour though.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.
