2007 San Francisco International Auto Show (56K Caution)

Post by six »

Pictures from my adventure at the 2007 San Francisco International Auto Show!!

I took pictures of some of the more engaging cars there. Some of them spectacular, some cool but been-there-done-that. SPOILER: Pics of the Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, new WRX STi, and new EvoX follow.

Some general "atmosphere" pictures

Awesome!

I remember seeing the R8 in person earlier this year at the Dallas Auto Show and yeah, seeing it in a picture is nothing in comparison to seeing it in person.

It's very disappointing to see the new STI... It isn't ugly, but it isn't attractive, either. They've changed everything that made them unique and worthy of having such a tight group of followers. I used to have such a hard time choosing between the Evo's appearance and that of the STI, but now it really isn't hard at all. I still like the old Evo more, but the new one looks awesome!

Oh, and this is just the sex, although I could do without the red on the wheels:

The back end of the GT-R has to be the sexiest ass I have ever seen on a car.

 Omg that was car heaven, all those cars look fantastic. The gt-r front isn't really to my liking, the new Evo I love the looks, Audi r8 are awesome....

Man I would love to go and see all of those cars in person.

What have they done to the poor Porsches? Looks like they could reprise the Plymouth Neon "Hi" ads.

Do you mean the little "smiles" they all have now? Never seen the "Hi" adds.

The R8 really is an impressive car. It's very slick. I want one.

That black Porsche. Do you by chance have a higher res of that shot? Same with some of the R8 pictures?

The GT-R...Shame on Nissan for giving it a 6 speed paddle thing.
Celica = Awesome.

I don't think that's a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. It looks more like the 599 Fiorano with those flying buttresses at the C-pillar.

The R8 and the GT-R are hot. 8)

I'm puzzled as to why I see drilled rotors on many of the cars. Aren't manufacturers supposed to know better than that?

Sorry, my mistake. Edited.

Yes, I have them all in high-res (5 megapixels). Which ones do you want?

Looks a lot like the Orlando International Auto Show I went to a few weeks ago. Y'all had much more of a German presence - and had the GT-R and R8. Absolutely stunning! :)

Wow, does the GT-R look as ugly as that in pictures?

Also, I don't know if it is just me, but did they pretty much rip off the Koenigsegg design on the roof?

wow, Cali has an R8 highway patrol car?!?!?!

I think instead of owning a used ferrari one day, I'm going to own a used R8. haha. Those cars are amazing.
