My experience was certainly very similar. If I pegged it on the freeway the shifts were smooth, bordering on moisturizing, but in town the thing was confused and didn't know which way to go. There were times it would cycle through 4, 5, and 6 and I'd get cross and slap it in manual mode.

My friend's sister had a 2011 Fiesta that ate 5 and 6 and my other friends have a 2014 Focus withba faulty clutch pack. It's down for 5 months until it can be fixed.

Dang, Tony.

So, I'm sure none of us actually wish to put this monster of a thread to rest since it probably belongs in the Guinness book by now, but it occurs to me that with the new Star Wars movie coming out on Friday, it'd be a great time to create a Misc Thread VII: The Forum Awakens.

Old timers unite! Except dont let Tinton (or whatever he goes by these days) hear that or he'll freak out that we are somehow plotting against him.

Snowy, icy conditions cause crashes, road closures statewide
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS • 13 HOURS AGO
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have responded to numerous crashes during snow squalls across Michigan, including a pileup involving several dozen cars.

The Grand Rapids Press reports white-out conditions Friday afternoon on U.S. 31 north of Grand Rapids led to a chain-reaction crash of roughly 50 vehicles. A stretch of the freeway was closed.

I bet Wannabe had / will have some fun with this weather.

I came back to the office at 5pm yesterday afternoon and decided to stay an hour to catch up on what went on while I was off-site. HAH! When I left at 6pm, the freeway had black ice in several stretches. I'm sure that my being a studly-kinda-guy was all that saved me from imminent death.

Winter has been really boring in the Twin Cities. We had a snow day and then nothing.

i didn't work yesterday :D I went out once to the eye doc, but then stayed home and finished sewing christmas gift :D (of course, the time i was out to the eye doc is the time the lake effect big fluffy flakes decided to fall, and i had tennis shoes on, because it hadn't snowed yet that day!)

I was told yesterday had no more than 50-70 calls holding at a time. today we've hit 165 holding, and the calls are not slowing down. we're stuck in triple digits of holding, but no more than 200 yet *knocks on wood*

i thought we learned about snow driving LAST YEAR with this 193 car pile up, but i guess not?
