HELLO EVERYONE!
I am still alive! Just moved to a new place in Eastern MA. Still driving around that 2010 Corolla S! It's nearing 60k miles!
Good times.
How's everyone else doing?

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
Great. Car broke right before the trip to Chicago tomorrow morning. Pressure release valve broke and is sucking air into the motor. Vacuum is all out of whack. Stalling, CEL, you name it.
Trip tomorrow is hanging by a thread, depending on what dealer tells me. If they will have it fixed by Friday, they are telling me I cannot return the car Tuesday (which is when I'm back), because it's past 24 hours after repair completion.
I'll be on the phone with GM to make an exception, because there's no way I'm going to leave Friday, arrive sometime Satuday morning and then leave again Monday morning. Not driving 2000 miles for 2 days.
Stressed out today. Work is busy (even more so because I spent a shit ton of time at the dealer this morning), car is broke, I have some sort of a sore on the tongue and it hurts to talk. Jack has an onset of an ear infection.
Sonofabitch. What's next?

Werr, herro. Good overall, if rather busy. Just replaced front rotors and pads on the Fiesta for the first time (43.7k miles). The old ones had worn VERY evenly and were just about out of pad - I feel like we did well.Roymond wrote:HELLO EVERYONE!

I'm now mentally checked until at least the weekend. I finished my calculus final an hour ago and now it feels like Friday.potownrob wrote:GOOD MORNING STANDARDSHIFT!!!!!

I'd like it to be the weekend. My brother is really starting to grate on my nerves.

Do you work with him and/or do you/he work on the weekend so that you aren't together?tankinbeans wrote:Viel Glück!

Sisters had the green lantern hijacked for almost a month now. Been driving her silver accord this whole time. I've gotten used to alabaster, but he's boring as all he'll to drive. Want the lantern back.

I work less than a mile from him. He thinks it gives him license to bug me on a daily basis.Squint wrote:Do you work with him and/or do you/he work on the weekend so that you aren't together?tankinbeans wrote:Viel Glück!

I'd give him a license to go f*ck off, but I'm an asshole. First time somebody made a habit of bothering me at work just because they could, my reply would be "cost me my job and you'll cost yourself six weeks of not being able to eat solid food".tankinbeans wrote:I work less than a mile from him. Life's good man, Life is good. I'm playing hockey four nights a week, going to the gym four nights a week, and then peacefully relaxing the on the nights when I don't do anything.Squint wrote: How's life?
