Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
Meh. I want to cut costs. I really like this school and I think I can get in and afford it, too. But it's at that terminal point where it would be weird to live there because it's so close to home but it's still a little far to commute. I'm not sure.Tups wrote:Have you considered getting an apartment closer to the college?
I once lived ~15 km away from the campus for three weeks, and commuting by bus was a pain in the ass. Never again!

Yet another reason I love Macs.
For you uneducated people, I can have up to 16 different desktops at once, each with different stuff on it.

I've not really gotten into spaces on here yet. I'm just in love with the multi-touch trackpad.

Watching iPod commercials makes me ashamed to have a computer with a glowing apple on the back. Congrats, your crappy nano iPod has a crappy camera that takes video. Oooo major technological breakthrough, Apple.

They say it's pretty good, but the nano is thinner than a cell phone. What do we know? Cell phones take shitty video, so what's the nano video like?ElectroGhandi wrote:Watching iPod commercials makes me ashamed to have a computer with a glowing apple on the back. I don't think so. It's probably on the order of 10x worse than cell phone video.
EDIT: Aha, what did I tell you. Linky! It's .3MP (point three). Good job.

I just always find it irritating how Apple always act like they invent everything.

IBM created the first touchscreen smartphone in 1991. WiFi was only a dream at that point.ElectroGhandi wrote:I just always find it irritating how Apple always act like they invent everything.

Camera in an iPod? Honestly, why everything needs to have a crappy integrated camera in these days?
