Fast and the Furious 3

Post by mkracer89 »

I just wanted to ask since everyone on this site probably are into cars. What do you think about the Fast and the Furous series? Do any of you have any plans of watching the third one?

(Approaching street race)

"Wow, thats...quite a few stickers you got there."

(Slightly annoyed)

"Decals buddy, they're decals"

(My eyebrow goes up)

(He gets defensive)

"Hey, it was for balancing corner-weights alright??"

Seriously tho, FnF isn't all that bad...(or good)...so i'll end up watching it because there will probably been a supra somewhere in there and I love supra's. Too bad 90% of it is rice.

Already watched FNF and 2f2f so might as well watch this one too. But god.... This movie is going to kill difting... If you're smart, you'd buy a 240sx or rx-7 or two and resell them after the movie is out.. you'd probably gain a couple grand profit

it's not horrible but it's not great either. Whichever way u look at it they made a pretty big killin off the movie. Not to many current movies involving the tuner industry to begin with.

What kind of cars are in this movie? Last 2f2f had horrible cars I thought except for the old muscle cars they won in a tag team drag race. They should put muscle cars and exotics in it. I am personally not a big fan of ricers racing with a thousand decals on it; I think one solid color, tints and a spoiler are enough. The eclipse that tyrese drove was really ugly and the lancer's color could have been better as well.

In this one, they have mostly JDM. These car's aren't "as" rice but it's the most rice you can find in Japan . There is a muscle car in this one. Looks REALLY out of place lol (a muscle car in Japan? yeah right lol). And the worst thing is that they used some acutal D1 drift cars in the movie  ... and there is also a RX7 with a $10000 (yes ten thousand dollar) veilside wide body kit.

They put a Skyline motor in that Mustang. What a waste of a classic.

BTW, Japan's got a hardon for American stuff, just like many people here do for JDM stuff.

They do, but not as much as people here craze JDM. I guess when you look at something for too long, no matter how nice it is, it just looks plain. That's why some of Japan likes USDM, while we like JDM. Both looks good, but different is better.
