Extra-Life 2014 - Anyone else participating?

Post by Roymond »

Hey guys!

I was wondering if anyone here was participating in Extra-Life this year?

This is the first year I am actually participating in the event, usually I just donate some money to the cause but this year I'm feeling a bit adventurous and have a pretty solid group of friends who are going to do it with me.

If you are participating, any tips for a newbie?

Edited: If you feel inclined to donate to my cause, I am playing for the Boston Children's Hospital - http://www.extra-life.org/participant/Roymond35
Feel free to give me tips to improve my page or anything to help with this process

Sounds like the Christmas account version of a life insurance policy

That's cool, I only found about it through my buddy who has been doing it for the last three years with team reddit.

Normally I donate to him (with the exception of last year in which I gave to him and then the RoosterTeeth guys who raised almost 350,000 dollars for the Children's hospital in Austin). This year I wanted to take it a step further and just participate myself. I also dragged in my roommates and a couple friends to form the team we're going forward with.

If anyone is interested in participating, here's more information about the entire thing: http://www.extra-life.org
