I rolled 184,184 miles today. And kept going quite a bit farther.

This was from three weeks ago in the Tercel (and still on the original clutch).

The Fiesta rolled over 45k when we went to the in-laws yesterday.

The Civic is at 183,4xx. It's really only used as a daily driver for work, soccer, and/or rare random errands.

42500 right now. Car's 2 years and 4 months old. Driven Dallas-Chicago-Dallas three times, along with hiking trips.

If it weren't for my roadtrips and hiking/camping trips, I'd be at 15k miles a year.

I always shifted by sound primarily, and just watched to tach on occasion in case I missed a gear (especially if the car is pretty quiet or loud).

Yesterday I drove Pikachu, my friend's newly acquired 96 F150 with IP approved 4.9 litre I6, and was poodling around in 4th. My friend said, "you have a mother gear, you know." I was like "shit, he likes it." I may have realized it with a tach though.

Did it have a father gear, too, or was it a broken family?

It's a Pokemon, so it was abandoned to the wild to be discovered in tall grass by a random stranger. So yeah, broken family.

I've never had a tach... I learned by feel and sound. I don't really ever want a tach either.
