In the day-to-day colloquial sense: truth == 'valid'; something confirmed and verifiable.

Philosophically: Its colloquial definition still applies, but I'll elaborate and state that truth is relative, not absolute. It is also subjective. Everything is true to some degree. In many cases that degree is 0%, in some cases it is 100%, but most cases the value lies between those two extremes.

There is no set definition of truth, because as Mr. RIT said, it is subjective and can vary with context and circumstance. Truth is a perception as well, which can vary between individuals.

Both are right. I understand that your perception of color may be different from mine and I'm cool with that because ultimately it doesn't matter.

Now if only religion was like that, eh?

I'd know at that point that you are obviously an old-fashioned girly girl, as evidenced by your extensive knowledge of color names, and I'd ask you to make me a sammich without worrying that you'd feel offended.

Are you cheating at bible study? Coming in here and asking all our answers so you can give them to the group and pass them off as your own? I'm so telling on you!
