Synchros shot? Weird noises while shifting? Not sure what needs to be replaced?

doesn't sound like it. sounds like your synchro(s) is/are blown and you'll need to take your transmission apart in order to get it fixed. hopefully that's the only thing that's broken :|

have you tried double clutching into third? it may make things a little easier on you
Well, this is actually my first clutch car so i haven't really had any experience 'double clutching', or drifting for that matter, which all in all started this whole thing.. I haven't tried double clutching, but i've noticed that if i rev to about 4-4.5k rpm in 2nd gear i could just skip the 3rd and shift straight into 4th gear. Is that bad for the clutch by any chance?

Skipping 3rd is fine. If the stick doesn't want to go in, don't force it into 4th gear, just as with any shift you gently wait until it goes in willingly.

Drifting is extremely abusive to the car. It's an expensive hobby.

Yeah you're definitely right about that. Well i guess I'ma just try that for a while, then take it to a mechanic, see if he can figure out what exactly i need to fix. Thank a lot everyone, you're a great help!

Thou shalt not harm the Z.

If it was a Z31 I would excuse it though.
