How often do you wash your car's exterior, on average?

I try to go for about once a month, though that doesnt always work out so well, especially considering ill only ever hand wash it. That gets tricky in a New England winter

Right now in winter it's less, because of the cold and salt and all that, but in the summer, I wash it maybe once a week/once every two weeks.

once every... never. I haven't washed either of them yet.

i used to wash my car every 2 weeks. now it's turned into almost 2 years

I don't wash my car. I hate it and I wish it would burn. If it were cleaner/rust-free that wouldn't be the case. But really, I've washed it once since I had it. I think that was in April or May.

Whenever it looks dirty, that would ideally be 2 to 4 weeks, but I often put it off for months. It's just not worth the effort.

I try to do every few weeks but that doesn't always happen. The truck got washed once a month simply because after a trip there was like 100 lbs of mud everywhere and it would get annoying to dirty up your work clothes every time you got it/out.

I've had the VW for a year and haven't washed it yet. I don't hate it or wish it would burn, though.

I think I washed the truck last spring or summer once.

All the salt on it keeps rubbing off on my jacket when I lean over it to mess with stuff in the bed.

I can't stand not washing the car for a while. I don;t have to really like the car but when it's clean and shiny I feel better driving it. Regardless of what it is.

It's a black car, so it looks like turd when even slightly dirty. So yeah, weekly washer here.

I'd do it more frequently... because my brake pads are more like dust pads that occasionally slow the car down... but it's a damn time commitment I can't manage during the work week.

It better shine and those tires / rims should be glossy or else the car is not getting driven.

If I had a nice car, I'd probably wash it as soon as it got dirty. However, I have a Geo Prizm.

The black is sexy but an unforgiving dirt catcher. every week to two weeks for me.
