Why not? It saved a young lady years ago who'd been carjacked. She put her automovehicle into neutral while driving through an intersection and did the tuck and roll.

CHALLENGER SALES PULL AWAY FROM CAMARO- From Autoline Daily

Chevrolet and Ram are in a big argument over who’s pickup outsells the other. But there’s another argument brewing. The Dodge Challenger now outsells the Chevrolet Camaro. The tipping point came last year and not only is the Challenger pulling away, it’s getting awfully close to the Mustang. Remember the Challenger sits on one of the oldest platforms in the business. It’s a reworked version of the Mercedes E-class left over from the days of DaimlerChrysler. FCA was going to put it on an Alfa Romeo platform, but that didn’t work out. So they’re revamping the existing platform and it should be in showrooms within the year.

Well at least it will still be relatively reliable in that case.Rope-Pusher wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 12:45 pm It’s a reworked version of the Mercedes E-class left over from the days of DaimlerChrysler. Re: Well I found the Focus replacement...
Sweet ride! I’ve had a soft spot for these ever since I rented one with the fuel gulping V6. I’m always on the lookout for one of these in SEL trim with the analogue clock and of course a standard transmission. Found one but really expensive...

Re: Well I found the Focus replacement...
My car now. Runs great. I just have to get used to front drive, power windows, power locks, big fat unwieldy key, etc and not driving a pickup after 44 years of driving pickups. Oh well, it is a lot of fun to drive and has far, far less rust than the S10 I am giving up. The S10 in fact was held together by various rigged bracing such as the J-hook to hold the fender to the radiator support, the bungee and wire to hold the battery in place, the brace I put under the front to keep the radiator from dropping out, the duct tape holding the airbag crash sensors from dangling by their wires, the piece of pipe I formed into a tailgate hinge, and surely others that will come to mind later..ClutchDisc wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 11:43 pm Hey all, so today I picked up a new to me 2008 Ford Fusion... 2.3L 4 cyl 5 speed manual. This car is a lot of fun to drive and handles really well. I bought it from a mechanic who did a lot of work on it and did a lot of custom upgrades... More pictures to come, it was getting dark and I only took one so far...

My proudest hack repair moment was the bed in the Ranger, featured in this thread:Rope-Pusher wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 9:00 am Holdin' out on us...all these years and you didn't tell us you had customized it. Pics or it ain't true!
