If you stick to drag racing, I wouldn't worry about 4-lug hubs...as long as you torque them to spec...and they weren't abused by being under-torqued or over-torqued in the past.
If you get into drifting or autocross, I'd start thinking of changing to 5-lug hubs.
BTW, it's not just the number of lugs that is important. The diameter of the fastener circle makes a big difference when you are reacting lateral g-loads.

No worries with 4 lugs....there used to be all kinds of guys running 10s with slicks on 4 lugs without any issue.

I've been doing a lot of work on the mustang lately, and I figured I would keep this thread updated since this is a project car to an extent.
I detailed the interior and pulled the radio... got a delete panel off of amazon. I love the simple look of the delete panel. Never would have used the radio anyway.
Next project was to remove the AC and all related components. Got an AC delete kit to go in its place so I could keep the same belt size.
Before:
After:
I had to pull the front bumper for a couple reasons, including the removal of the AC condenser. I also needed to install a new Ford emblem as the original was looking pretty sad.
Bumper back on, now with the AC cooler removed, you can see the radiator. The new emblem is also in place!

I'm guessing the Clutches are using the 4/100 method of cooling. I'd be getting some major swass and underboob sweat.
Eek

Who needs a radio when the exhaust and engine sound so good?? I ain't driving this car so I can listen to music!
And the AC didn't work anyway... plus the removal took weight off the car and cleaned it up under the hood. Who wants the drag of AC on a muscle car? I got windows, they cool me off just fine!

I get sick of the engine/exhaust sound pretty quickly. I’d be rocking a portable radio with a handle within a month.

I have a stereo convertor off of a mono-system. My suitcase has two poo shoots, but 1 face hole.

Theres something about the burble of exhaust turning to a roar and drowning out the radio that I like. I also take long-ass road trips and need music regardless of my exhaust situation. The radio helps improve my fuel economy in these situations as well. Since I get about 20mpg out of a four cylinder as it is, any bit helps.

Put new headlights in, the old ones were pretty bad looking.

My '88 Mustang came from the factory with A/C delete. It had the power steering pump up where the A/C compressor normally sits. I loved that car, but my girlfriend at the time hated it after just one trip to the NJ Shore in August, of course stuck in traffic on the Garden State Parkway on a 95 degree day. Two windows down and 80 mph doesn't work very well when you're stuck in traffic.

was the show on or near Mustang Alley / 9-Mile Road in Ferndale?
I saw many Ford Broncos (Bronchi?) at the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise this year. I thimpk Ford was encouraging their participation as part of drumming up interest in the next generation Bronco.
