*Drool* At first I was like meh to Genesis' in general, but in the past few months I've come to adore them. That color and the yellow they have are amazing. I envy you, and I'm going to the Drive Genesis event on Aug. 15th so I'll see what the hubbub is about. Congrats man!

Educate me. What's an upside down payment and why did they give him a 30k loan on a 21k car?

I'm puzzled.

I've never heard of this happening, but maybe he owed more on his WRX than it was worth and they paid it off and added the cost to the car loan?

That's pretty much it. I owed $12k on the WRX and they gave me $8,100. So the difference was just added to the cost of the car. Then Tax, title, licence, and destination is added. Then the additional items I added (exterior/interior protection, alarm, and 10yr/100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty) is added to the cost. After deverything was added it came out to be $31k and some change.
