2010 Challenger R/T

Post by LynnF1 »

379hp Hemi, 5-speed automatic. Black exterior, charcoal interior. Satellite radio/nav system.

A big, comfy car. Decently fast, but not excitingly so. all black w/ large hood scoop (non-functional - part of the "Appearance Package" - get that!), big chromes - so it looks really menacing.

Handles OK. Rides pretty smoothly.

Did I mention it was pretty big?

Decent mileage. Roomy.

How can a car with nearly 400 hp be "decently fast, but not excitingly so"? What do you drive, a Koenigsegg?

edit: I see, I see...

I'm going to bed. To cry.

Tups apparently didn't read before he responded with Koenigseggegeigieggeigigieegeigieg. But yeah, I'd have to assume the Shelby is faster...

When I had a Hammy Charger, it never felt it was going as fast as what the speedometer said - good car for getting tickets in. Exciting cars feel faster than what the speedometer shows.

^What he said. A big comfy car takes all the excitement away from speed. You think you're plodding along obeying the law and everybody else is just going ridiculously slow, then you look at the speedometer and you're going 40% over the speed limit. A go-kart car delivers excitement at legal speeds.

If they're upload to the internets somewhere, just click the Img button up at the top of post creation, and paste the link where it is uploaded between [img] [/img} (Intentional mistake so it would show...)

Example:

[img]http://jeffreyhill.typepad.com/.a/6a00d ... 8833-800wi[/img} But with ] instead of } at the end...

EDIT: The Cow was faster than me. Combine our posts and you should know everything!

Hey! You didn't have 100 on your trip odometer. Try again and get it right so all the numbers match this time!!

I unfortunately dont have any road time in a Challenger. Just lot time. However, the clutch in the SRT8 is pretty damn good for a newer car.
