That or the winter-only version (not "2-in-1") are my second favorite off-the-shelf washer fluid. My favorite is the stuff that came from Germany in my VW, which was a little bit soapy and was the inspiration for my homebrew stuff.paul34 wrote:
It had a bit more milky appearance, though. If any of you have ever purchased a bottle of Sunny D, then you know what I'm talking about.

The lower the car, the more often you need to use it.

OTOH, in the summer at night, a higher vehicle seems to get the worst of bugs smashing on the windshield. My truck gets it way worse than the car.

Good review scionkid.
Aye, also all the hoses that it's routed through are subject to deterioration if they hold too harsh a chemical for an extended period, I'd imagine.paul34 wrote:Also, be careful what you throw into your wicked homebrews, since on most cars, you're going to have some that sprays onto your paint (whether on the hood if you have hood nozzles, or onto the roof, especially more so if you tend to hit it while moving).

Oh yeah, the manual Fiesta I drove had that same healthy green glow. As cheesy as that was, I wish I get to drive one on the beach myself.

Silver isn't so bad...just imagine if most cars were brown/tan instead. That's what silver replaced and, as boring as it is, it's a HUGE improvement.
