Tomato Union Software-Track Day

Post by 1974Alfa5spd »

http://tomatounion.com/
An all-in-one track application including G-force, lap timer, and 0-60 timer(for iPhone 3G(S) users only). Available in the app store for $12.
After you purchase, download, install, and run the app, you are welcomed by a warning message alerting it is designed for use on private race tracks or drag strips. This doesn't mean you can have a little fun right?  After you say, "okay I wont drive like a maniac on the street," you're greeted by the home screen of the application which allows you to choose your car.
Image
Once you choose your car, you are shown the specs you input, such as weight, frontal surface area, and drag coeff.
Image
You can then conduct power, accleration, and speed tests.
Image
Using the accelerometer, you can conduct g-force tests.
Image
Image
Even a lap timer.
Image
And finally your settings, so you can change all your readings from the default communist metric to standard.

More detailed review to come once I can use it once or twice.

Zero. She'll probably leave you when you start doing full throttle pulls on the main street.
Although you can use your iThing as a replacement for phallically shaped rubber objects.

The side impact beams in the doors also add almost 100lbs to the car.
