so my friends dad works for Silvana the lightbulb company and he asked me the other day if i had ever tryed the Silver star bulbs. i told him no and he asked if i wanted to try them so i said sure and he asked what bulbs my car took so i told him and today he brought me some completly free of charge. anyway i put the high and low beams in and by this time it was starting to get dark and i decided not to put the fogs in tonight.
anyway on to the review.
overall brightness 5/5
price 3/5
ease of install 5/5 (duh just like normal bulbs)
overall 4/5
I like these they are brighter the light is whiter then stocks i can see a difference between my fogs and my headlights. the fogs are like a yellow color compared to these. although they are kinda pricey. i would have to say i would not buy them but they are pretty nice and if you have the cash to blow on bulbs they are nice.

Any idea if they cause more glare for other drivers than normal bulbs?

i had these on my CL and i really wasn't impressed with them. i noticed a small increase in light output and the color was a only a little whiter than stock.
they only lasted about a month before they burned out. i was wearing gloves when i installed them, so i doubt that the oil from my fingers did any damage.
after i trashed those, i picked up some nokya stage 2 arctic white (55W halogens) with an extra "plug and play" harness because of the higher wattage. sure enough, after a year and a half of usage, one of the lights stopped working. when i looked to see if the bulb went out, i found a crispy black harness.
from now on, if i want a higher output bulb, i'll just go and buy some HIDs.
anyways, here's a picture of my CL with the nokyas.
if you want hid color with none of the hid output, these are the bulbs to get. plus, they last a lot longer than the silverstars.
~$20 shipped, $30 with harness (recommended)

I ran Silverstars in my rig for close to a year. Bulbs never burnt out or anything like that.
