Yes, the M cars..that's a K car plus two, right?

Well, not kwite. K in K-cars stood for their body platform, but M in 300 M stood for the "Mth" vehicle in the 300 series. The 300 series spanned several body platforms.

M is the Roman numeral for 1000. The 300M is the 300,000th model in that series? Wowsers!
