That's SOP for Chrysler. Anyone remember K-cars?

Considering their lifetime powertrain warranty, it's not something I'd worry about when buying the car...there's plenty of other things to worry about (like the lack of power).

What, are we only allowed to use StandardShift.com smileys? Screw that, the smileys here suck...I use smileys from smileysftw.com but sometimes from other forums too.

mesaboogie18 wrote:I could definitely see the 2.7 being unreliable considering that I had to give floor it to go anywhere on the interstate. Around town driving was fine though. It definitely felt out of place in a car as heavy as the Charger. Why would Chrysler even consider putting that puny engine in their large cars??? :?
Probably so they can go on TV and advertise that they have "The Most Fuel-Efficient Fleet of Vehicles". :?

2.7L in Charger shouldn't be aloud. All Dodges should be required to be able to get out of their own way. If the manglement wanted to offer a "Value Package", they should have kept the Plymouth brand around. Fury IV is a good name for a 3800 lb car with a 2.7L, right?

I thought the "dodge" badge was an instruction to other drivers on the road.

You heard of the Chrsyler 300 M, right? Shirley you must also have heard of the Dodge M cars. They are a thrill team that performs at county fairs, amusement parks, state fairs, etc. For a small fee, they will even let you drive their cars - and they don't make you sign an insurance waiver or pay for a collision damage rider.
