You can still get a pretty fast V8 Mustang and put 87 octane in it. Can't say that about those 9-year-old F-bodies. If you don't mind premium gas (Which you don't, since you're talking LS1's), the GT500 should positively smoke any stock F-body. Myself, I'll take something that's quick enough that I can still put regular gas in...
