now that you say that i do remember seeing some of the cars as either RR or maybe even MR. i wish we had something like that around here, that would prove to be extreme amounts of funness. too bad the US has to many retarded laws and would shut it down before it even started. either that or some stupid redneck would start screaming that he won the race and someone else cheated and someone would get into a fight.

I saw a Seat 850, which is basically a rebadged Fiat 850 built in Spain, couple of years ago on the backyard of an abandoned factory, and the car was so small that I could've kept it in my pocket and drive from the parking lot to the door of my apartment...

I actually asked the same thing, and I asked the same question about fiat 600 wich is smaller and fiat 500 wich is even smaller.
Anwser is sipmle, rules allow you to move the wall between enginebay and cabin 20cm. (7.87 inches) wich makes a lot of more room in enginebay, and that makes possible to put there much longer engine than orginal. allthough, there is left only 1 cm (0.39 inces) wetween lowest timingbelt pulley, and rollcages lower rearmost beam.
Plus radiator is either removed, or chaged to smallerone and palaced between engine and the wall between enginebay and cabin. they actually dont need too much cooling because the race lasts 2 laps. 3 laps on finals, and track length is as about 1.2-1.8km. (0.7-1.1miles) a lap. so the engiine is bit cold when you are on starting grid, and slightly overheated, when you come to finnishline.

car number 72 is fiat 850 and car number 28 is Fiat 133. car finnished 3rd is VW beetle wich is just about the same size.
