Nice placement. It looks like there are almost no horizontal surfaces on which to put your ScanGauge.

You should sneak the cable into the dash where the steering column is, then out near the OBDII port. Or, do as I did in the VW: Detach the OBDII port and bury it inside the dash along with the SG cable.

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd cut one end of an ethernet cable and tap it directly into the wires going to the OBDII port, leaving the port available for other scanners and leaving my ScanGauge cable available to use on other cars.

took two quick pics of my scangauge. My pedals happened to be in one of them. I was too lazy to pull out the tripod so you can all enjoy overexposed flashed pics. Also, looks like I noobed up the focus on the second pic. Oh, my floormat is actually fairly clean (just washed it with dawn and hose a few days ago), it's just worn out  it's got some holes in it as well where my heel usually is... I should probably replace it as some point.

Excess cable is tied and stuffed behind that kick panel you see there on the left (first pic). You can see the other end of the cable sticking out from the obd2 port as well (first pic).
I had my scangauge located in that exact spot. Problem was, it wouldn't stay there. In the summer, the the adhesive behind the velcro would give way and I'd always come back to my car with my scangauge on the floor and a goopy mess on the dash (first sexual or twss comment gets a bullet to the temple...).

This thread reminded me that I need to rip off the crummy rubber pedal pads and stick on some anti-skid tape. I'm thinking marine-grade might work well. :D
