1930 Ford Model A
This was one of those once in a lifetime experiences... Last night, I got to drive this:
201 cid (3.3 L) L-Head 4 cylinder engine (40 horsepower)
3-speed manual transmission with no synchros
4-wheel mechanical drum brakes
Top speed: ~55mph
I'll have some videos next week.

Re: 1930 Ford Model A
Does it have modern controls (clutch pedal, brake pedal, gas pedal, single gear shift lever, handbrake/parking brake) or does it have the weird controls found on the Model T?

Re: 1930 Ford Model A
The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls, with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle and gearshift. - Wikipedia
Now, the ignition system is an entirely different story. If you're interested in the starting procedure: http://www.model-a.org/controls_adjustments.html

Re: 1930 Ford Model A
I spend my time in the non-snob area (cos cob) and work in the snob area of central greenwich.
Coscob is the original part where all the kind, goodhearted people work.
But yeah, there are alot of rich snobs around....partly the reason i work there
