I just know that somehow, VW will produce EVs that pollute, but in a way that the EPA can't measure. They found a way to do it with their diesels, right? ...And now, from the folks that brought you WWII, they'll apply the same know-how to come up with batteries that turn into toxic waste when their lives are over, and recharging stations that rely on (Rolling)-coal-fired powerplants, and open-pit-eyesores from rare earth mining.

You know, Rope, your company isn't much if any better (end eye'm knot even tall king rely ability wise). just because the suits don't have a history of acting like anal-retentive robots doesn't make them any better... https://www.detroitnews.com/story/busin ... /38872193/
I don't even own a car company!

But if I did, it wouldn't be that lyin' cheatin' scumbag company known as VW.

They are the Energizer Bunnies of cheaters. Making diesel cars for all those years, knowing they weren't meeting the emissions standards, and crowing about how clean and green their diesel motors were because of their superior Chermin technology.....

Anyway, getting down off my soapbox, I'll say that any and all battery electric cars have batteries that need to be treated as toxic waste, recharging stations that get their power from polluting sources, and use rare earth elements whose mining you wooden want in YOUR backyard. ANY car company that participates in this madness is as guilty as the others.

Mie hou things have changed!

Who was running the convenience store while the attendant was out there pumping gas and servicing the cars?

So now your car notifies you when it needs the oil changed, or if the tire pressure is too low, or if something isn't right with the engine.

We still need sensors to tell you when a belt if fraying, when a hose is swelling, when the wiper blades need cleaning (yes, cleaning - the attendants did that. Try it sometimes - it helps!) or replacing, self-cleaning windows, worn tire indicators, engine air filter replacement indicators, burned-out headlight, turn-signal, or taillight indicators, low fluid level sensors, etc.

I am amused at what a serious threat this is being made out to be. If I were to die from this virus, you have my permission to laugh your butt off and say "I told you so, but NO, you thought it was something funny. How funny is it now, Laughing Boy?!!!"

Yanno, there are worse things that could happen to you than to catch the latest trendy virus and die within a fortnight.

One, or two, might come down with Huntington's Disease, and have it turn you into a bank manager.

You could get Lou Gherig's Disease and have to play a half-million games of baseball, whether you like the game or not.

Or, wurst of owl, you could find yourself.....MARRIED ALIVE!

(I wonder if Mr. Moderator is going to bleep that one out)

Wuhan to Wuhan – By Joe Cockorona

Wuhan to Wuhan (Wuhan to Wuhan)
Dry Cough to Dry Cough (Dry Cough to Dry Cough)
Fever to Fever (Fever to Fever)
Wuhan to Wuhan (Wuhan to Wuhan)
Wuhan to Wuhan
Ev'rything I say ev'ything that's happening
Seems to come your way
You don't care if it rains or shines
Long as you know if I tested positive
Wuhan to Wuhan (Wuhan to Wuhan)
Dry Cough to Dry Cough (Dry Cough to Dry Cough)
Fever to Fever (Fever to Fever)
Wuhan to Wuhan (Wuhan to Wuhan)
Fever to Fever
Well, I'm sick as sick can be.
Don't let it get on me.
You talk about social distancing, honey
And then you quarantine me.
But I don't wanna be alone no more.
Wuhan to Wuhan (Wuhan to Wuhan)
Dry Cough to Dry Cough (Dry Cough to Dry Cough)
Fever to Fever (Fever to Fever)
Wuhan to Wuhan (Wuhan to…

This is like the guy spinning plates on top of metal rods,....but in this case, it's Chemistry that's keeping him busier than a one-legged man performing a double-clutched downshift.

ACURA CREATES ANIME SERIES THAT FEATURES NEW TYPE S - Autoline Daily

Everybody likes to watch cartoons, right? So, as part of its sponsorship of the Sundance Film Festival, Acura released a four-part anime series that follows the journey of a young racer named Chiaki. Each video is about a minute long and they feature Acura’s all-new Type S lineup. We kind of wish they were all looped together, but it’s worth four minutes of your time.

interesting, but not sure what eye think of the actual anime videos. it's as though they had their american team make it; doesn't feel japanese too me, which is what i thought anime was supposed to be, and this is from a japanese company. was nice to see a sneak peak of the new integra though... :o 8)

I saw one of those Maverick pickups on the road the other day. Is it a version of the Ranger?
