Actually, he promised "change", not "I'll try to cause some change". He promised results that most politicians never try to promise because they know it's not possible.

It was supposed to be a joke about how some people in America blame Obama for the recent oil spill. Around here the majority thinks that Obama is the best thing that has happened to the US for a long time, but then again we are all liberal communist gay muslim terrorist supporters who know nothing about anything, so it's pretty understandable.

The power plant efficiency I quoted was average for power plants in the US, not coal plants in the US.

And I didn't cite the well-to-wheel efficiency for the Tesla unless the coal and natural gas spontaneously materialize at the power plant.

But you did compare the combined efficiencies of the motor in the Tesla and the losses in the power plant against the efficiency of the internal combustion engine by itself as if the gas spontaneously materialized in its own tank.

The refining is a legitimate observation, but we could talk about ancillary efficiencies in the power plant system as well.

Of course, we've been talking about the efficiencies in terms of resources consumed; there's a whole other side of this argument about the respective economic efficiencies of each... but that's equally convoluted.

I didn't like Ford in previous years but I have to admit they've stepped up their game.

And no it's not IRS. According to this month's Car and Driver it has a live rear axle.

Ah that's good. For some reason I thought they could be had with an auto. Maybe that's just the Shelby GT-H that they made for Hertz rent-a-car so that people can have the Shelby experience without the full experience of rowing through supercharged V8 power.

indeed sir i am. ford just went up a notch in my book. although it wasn't that high up there to begin with...i guess working on cars could always be worse than a ford though...look at volkswagen...
