And quite quickly at that.Bawked wrote: i can see this going bad tho
Id rather have them in a new tab so I dont have to wait for things to load on those painfully slow youtube days
Re: youtube embedding
Actually I do prefer the old way, where you click on a link and it opens.
Is there any way to click on the embedded thing and make it so that it opens in a new window without it starting to load in the old window?
I want to have it so that it doesn't load the video twice when I click on it to open.

Re: youtube embedding
Nvm, I see it. God damn, that's too much clicking.
Re: youtube embedding
I think this is a great addition. There have been so many instances in the past where it would have been really nice to have this feature. If you don't want to load or watch the video, don't click play.

Re: youtube embedding
That can be a problem, but it seems like the plugin used on this forum handles that issue gracefully. For me, they don't load with the page; the preview pic loads when it scrolls into view, and the video doesn't load until I play it.watkins wrote:Id rather have them in a new tab so I dont have to wait for things to load on those painfully slow youtube days
Try double or triple clicking it. When I triple-click as soon as I see it, it opens the Youtube page in another tab and aborts any loading it's doing on the original tab.Leedeth wrote:Is there any way to click on the embedded thing and make it so that it opens in a new window without it starting to load in the old window?

It's not working. It still loads on the original page.theholycow wrote:Try double or triple clicking it. This sucks, now it's causing problems for people who want to watch the video?
