about the powersteering topic try driving my dads truck that has no powerstering at all if your not used to it its a pain to turn from a dead stop

It's a pain to turn anything without PS if you're not used to not having it.
That said, A couple of my future cars will be losing it.

Just waiting to pull the old R12 system out of the Spirit since I'm not gonna convert it...

the A/C don't work, why keep it in the car? and he aint taken out my powersteering, no matter how much it sucks

like aaron said, he's not doing an R12 conversion, wtf that means...

besides, i don't need a/c. i've never had it in a car i've owned

lol you already got a R12 system. they switched to R134a in 94, all you gotta do is drain the old system of R12, put on new fittings and fill it with 134

ok...he said r12 conversion. i'm not sure what the hell i'm talking about. besides, he says its like 30 lbs, so less weight!

That's what I mean. R12 to R134a. The compressor is siezed, and it'd leak like a bitch even if I could convert and refill... No thanks... If we can live without it, we will...
