You have clearly never looked at pricing for a Saab. Our shits not cheap.comingbackdown wrote:I can tell you this much right now. It's a helluva lot cheaper to replace a clutch on a little four banger than it's gonna be on a BMW. Parts for bimmers aren't cheap.

It's a pain to turn anything without PS if you're not used to not having it.Takigu wrote:about the powersteering topic try driving my dads truck that has no powerstering at all if your not used to it its a pain to turn from a dead stop
That said, A couple of my future cars will be losing it.
Just waiting to pull the old R12 system out of the Spirit since I'm not gonna convert it...
Back to your regularly scheduled topic...

Re: New member, considering stick shift car
lol you already got a R12 system. they switched to R134a in 94, all you gotta do is drain the old system of R12, put on new fittings and fill it with 134

Re: New member, considering stick shift car
That's what I mean. R12 to R134a. The compressor is siezed, and it'd leak like a bitch even if I could convert and refill... No thanks... If we can live without it, we will...hockeystyx16 wrote:lol you already got a R12 system. they switched to R134a in 94, all you gotta do is drain the old system of R12, put on new fittings and fill it with 134
