Boy, did I have weeks like that. It really all is in persistence. Keep at it. Oh, and at least you're buying a car after you know how to drive. I bought the car, then learned to drive. That car just sat there in the driveway for a good week before I had the courage to drive it with no help.

That's the spirit! Win or go down trying! (Trust me, it works. In a few weeks, you'll start wondering how you ever drove before. :))

That's what I did and it worked out fine. It helped that I had a friend who had some spare time one Friday after I got it to help accelerate my learning. Now I'm even rev-matching downshifts!

I wipe my own butt! But I wipe my own butt!

Some reason I though of that, its not direct quote but its close enough from Big Daddy.

Go for it! My wife had no idea how to drive a stick when we bought our car about 5-6 months ago (and I wasn't much better). We haven't regretted it at all.

Orlando Yahoo results

Plenty of them down in Orlando. Nothing around here:

Ocala Yahoo Results

Of course, Yahoo! isn't the end-all-be-all of buying a car, but does a good job representing what's available.

Edit: Hold the phone... 5 speed Type-S??

I thought they only came with a 6 speed? :D
