Well, after lurking for a bit now i figured i should register and say hi. (More candidly, it was more driven by the fact that i wanted to actually being able to ask questions of my own.)
So, hallo.
Beyond that, I drive my beautiful blue '05 Outback 2.5XT. I got her barely used just over 6 months now, and as much as i loved my '96 Volvo 850 could never go back now. No major modifications (yet), but my friend swears that the BOV is aftermarket. I won't lie, i can't tell.
Outside of the vehicle, which i predominantly use to bounce between la (school) and orange (life) counties, i'm going to school for design and do some freelance design work on the side.
But i'm immensely glad to have found this forum. I knew that there was (and is) so much more for me to know about driving etc., but unless i have a specific question it's hard to get information out of my automotively inclined friends.
With that i'll shut up now. No need to babble on unnecessarily.

welcome! yay Suby!
if you can hear the BOV it's probably aftermarket and you may want to look into replacing it back to stock. the Outback is based on the Impreza so i'm guessing that the modding rules would be the same and vent to atmosphere BOVs mess with the air/fuel ratio and from what i've read can cause the car to run dangerously lean in some circumstances.
http://www.nasioc.com, though full of flames, is a good Subaru resource.
feel free to ask your questions when you've got them.

Yes, we did. Thank goodness! Hopefully all those tourists—in particular Fox's fanatic fan base—will now dispel and go home already. Or at the very least stick to Laguna. Damn MTV and the rest of them. Teen show should stick to cutesy small towns back east, far far away from me.Nychold wrote:Oh noes! The OC? Didn't we finally kill that show off!?!
