Hello everyone!
I bought my first car this weekend-
a 2002 Hyundai Accent GSi.
Learning standard is frustrating but I'm determined to get there!

Hello! Welcome to the site, Stefani. Everyone here is friendly, if you haven't already seen, so ask any question that's on your mind.
BTW, let's see your car

Thanks for the warm welcomes!
I look forward to actually being able to drive my car! haha, I've only been out in it twice! (Just bought it on Sunday!)
I think I'm doing okay- starting is rough and man, oh man, I HATE hills! haha.

Probably at this point its just getting starts smooth and without stalling. I've yet to find the off clutch/ on gas balance.
Once I get that down, I'll need to master hills.
Actually, I should work on hills preeetty quick, because I live on one so most of my starts will be from a hill. I can avoid them for awhile by taking alternate routes, but I'll need to learn soon. Gross. My dads going to show me the ebrake trick soon... I think he wants me to learn the hard way first.
Sometimes I think he's more excited to get me driving the car than I am!
