Lawryde Intro
Hi everyone
Name is Lawryde, and I’ve been driving manual transmissions for about 10 years (I’m 26). I learned on a ’92 Saturn SL100. I had a few lessons and then had a trial by fire in Jacksonville, FL rush hour traffic. Nothing teaches you better than forcing you to learn.
I currently have a 2007 Hyundai Elantra 5-speed and enjoy driving it every day. I love all the little tips I learn on this board.
Thanks and hope to enjoy chatting with you.

Hey there, lawryde! A fellow IL resident, I see. Good to have you aboard.
So what do you think of the new Elantra? The car sounds like a heck of a deal, cuz it comes with a lot of things standard, and reviews have been positive.
It also looks purty in pictures. I especially like the look of the interior.
Let us know what you think, and pictures of your ride would be pretty cool.

I really like the Elantra. Comfortable, roomy, nice pickup for a 4 cylinder, good gas mileage. No complaints to date. It was a sweet deal too. 6 air bags and ABS standard.dklkse wrote:Hey there, lawryde! A fellow IL resident, I see. Good to have you aboard.
