can't your mom teach you then? oh well, I've always found grandparents tend to yell less when you make mistakes than parents do.

my dad has a stupid "rule" about his car (a 01 yellow beetle)...you have to be married or 21 to drive it (idk why he has the rule...but ya)
so if mom were to teach me...she'd have to teach me in the "forbbidden" vehicle...

haha i agree with eaglecatcher about the parents and grandparents part. my dad screams at me whenever i ask him questions, like as if i should already know everything i am supposed to know.

oh and btw. im a female. :D driving stick isnt exactly that tough. but more practice, really!

ya...i agree its odd...made sense when he got the car, as it was brand new (i believe...not sure)...but now...as i am an adult...not married or 21 (two years till then), but stilll responsible (no accidents/tickets from police in 3 years), he still won't let me drive...

I've never touched a manual car before then. That's why I said no. If the asked now, I would.

Then why don't you teach her, dude? Or is it because you don't want a newbie busting up your new car?
