Thanks.

That is correct. Got a '10 Cube with 6-sp manual on 3/14/10. (Pi Day!)

Neat car in many ways :)

Found your site and had to join!! So you've got another girl in the forums!!

I learned to drive stick in a 74 VW Beetle, and I've driven a Mercury Tracer, Ford Probe, Infiniti G20 and BMW 325i. Now trying to find a convertible with a stick (not a 2-seater, else I'd look seriously at the Mazda MX-5 Miata). Hate that auto manufacturers feel that the more luxurious models=lazy automatics! Just looked at the VW Eos, Saab 9-3 and BMW 128i, trying to make up my mind, but either way I'll probably have to build my own merely because I won't drive an auto transmision.

Glad to know there are others out there who feel like I do!!! :D

Welcome.

I would not bother blaming the manufacturers too much. They're experts at making money...if there was money to be made selling manual transmissions in larger luxury convertibles, you can bet they wouldn't want to ignore it.

The Camaro convertible should come out soon. It's not the most luxurious by today's standards but it is good for four occupants and a 6 speed manual transmission.

Welcome to here!

Those all seem like good choices and I am equally torn between all of them. They all have their respective merits.

Watkins, I believe it was a 2010 9-3 convertible. The base model started out as stick being standard, then the Aero model had stick as an option. It was really a gorgeous looking car!

Your best bet would be to go older and trust this man's advice ^
He's one of our most knowledgeable Saab nuts.
Just please, don't fall for any of his Saab stories.

Welcome to the forum!

For all logical reasons, newer will be more reliable, plus it will have longer warranty.

How's it a best bet to go with an order vehicle of the same model. Unless there are other reasons why a given year/model is wanted, there's no point to do so.
