That car wouldn't make it far in Detroit with all the potholes this winter has helped create. Really has to be a summer only car and then only in locales that actually maintain their roads decently.

That's a change. They used to offer the six-cylinder variants with manuals also.

Interesting thought... I'm a bit prejudiced against the MINI because of quality problems with the '01 I owned, but I suppose worth a look. Thing is, the MINI has grown so large that to me it no longer deserves the name :wink:

I'm intrigued by this 80 Buick, is there a thread on it somewhere?

If you're referring to Cow's Buick, yes. I think the title is Project Christine Slo-Hackensteinburg.
